The T.B.F. last week was a huge success even though it was held on Lake Eufaula. 7-12 man teams came together for a shoot out of 3 days. The Ga. Division blew the other 6 states out of the water by 30 lbs. The best individual catch was Marvin Horton of Palmetto, Ga. With a total 3 day catch of 54.14 lbs of bass. Bainbridge was represented by Donald W Culverson with 31.10 lbs of fish.

The Valdosta Bass Masters fished out here Saturday in a sweltering 98°. Some of the fishermen had to hunt shade & some had to get in the water to cool off. It was hot. Mr. Mike Hendrics won it with a 5.9 lbs bass.

The Thursday nite tournament was won by Koundarocas & Gismo Roton with a 7.30.

We have had some very good catches of catfish this week. I will try to list some of the baits to us, first bait, cotton seed cake, soy bean cake or chips, cheese trimmings, cheap dog food, sinking catfish bait. Now the bait, wiggles, stink bait, catabas, wheat worms, meal worms, oak worms, & stink Jims, there seems to be an endless supply of channels & blues for the taken.

Willow flies (May flies) are so plenty full that the bream want take a fly bug even at nite.

There was a couple of bass coolers filled to the top on worms & our old guide Jerry Sims using worms, did very good using the same worms.

We are proud to see the boat ramps being build in the Earl May boat basin.

At this scriblin we don’t know won the RSC tournament at the boat basin.

The Hydrilla Gnats fished on Lake Talquin with the following results 1st Greg Jeter with 16.73, 2nd Reid Heard with 13.90, 3rd Chris Neely with11.65, big fish Andy Koundarocas with 5.61 lbs.
