The Song Birds are at it now. Lots of them join in, in early morning singen spree. Great to hear them.

We saw no gators this weekend, but we just mite move off the full moon far enough for them to show them selfs. Its hard to keep ones eyes with a light, when the moon is real bright.

Nic Jeter and Kevin Quarantas won the Jack Wingate Thursday Night Big Bass Tournament held out of Wingate’s Lodge and hosted by the Hydrilla Gnats this week. That’s 2 nice young men.

Mr. Eddy Ditto and son won the Lady Softball Teams fish out on Lake Talquin with 15 lbs.of Bass, he also had big fish 7.5 lbs whopper.

The Berrian Co. Bass Masters Tournment held out of Big Jims Saterday he was also fishen with his son. Jackie Hamric, with 24 He also had big fish 8.5 lbs.

Another spotted bass was taken below Jim Woodruff Dam. I’m inclind to believe that they are filling up Lake Seminole. I’m not fast enough to catch them.

We have aready felt the “no canvasback duck season” here at Wingates. Many folks came from all over the country to just kill one canvasback. Maybe it will be better next year.

Pam Martin-Wells, fishen over in east GA was having to pay $5.59 per gallon of gas, that’s not marina prices but in town.
