We all know that our country is not perfect, but! Why do we hafty put up fences to keep out folks. Most nations put up baracades to keep folks in, but we need to put up baracades to keep folks out of our country. But it takes my guts out to see 2 Spanish speaking people to go into an oyster bar and buy ½ bag of oysters on a food stamp card!!!
As we go into day 3 of the BFL Regional Tournament, we find that Johnny Patterson of Grant, Alabamy was leading with 48.02 lbs., but Edward Getty won the tournament with a 3 day total of 15 fish that hit the scales at 61.03 lbs., that is an average of over 3 lbs. per fish in the 3 day limit of 15 fish. Great Catch!
Johnny Patterson came in 2nd with 47.09 lbs. to take home a nice check.
Corey Bradley of Choo Choo Bass Club (Chattanooga Bass Club) was 3rd and went to the scales with 47.08 lbs. of Bass.
Day #3 of the Co-Anglers went like this, Jet Loach of Rossville, GA won a fully rigged boat and trailer with 31.08 lbs. of Bass. 2nd Place was Jade Keaton of Florence, AL with 27.10 to win a nice check.
3rd Place went to John Hyatt of Florence, AL with 24.07 lbs. of Seminole Bass, with a nice check.
There was a total of 17 limits of fish taken on the co-anglers side.
The total limits of the Tournament was 84 five fish limits. These results is why Lake Seminole is the best tournament fishing lake in GA. We were promised that the Georgia Bulldog Division will be here next year same time.
We were also reminded that Ray Scott will put on a benefit tournament on his private lake at Pintlala, AL and he will welcome 100 fishermen on his private lake. He’s calling it Old Timer’s Tournament to benefit some charity.
The last time I fished his lake he had George W. Bush’s father there to give out the money. Stan Sloan won the first tournament at Beaver Lake, Ark. and the last Ray Scott tournament at Pintlala, AL. I was there and fished 1 place out of the money, so much for that.
Edward Getty, of Scottsboro, AL winner on the Angler side of the BFL Regional Tournament held out of the boat basin this past week
Jet Loach, of Rossville, GA winner on the Co-Angler side.
