All week long we have had very good luck on Big Red Bellies on Crickets. Each day that the wind would be under 10 mph you could catch lots of Bream. Course we ain’t had that, many days lately. If Georgia Power would put up a double line off those big wind mills on Booster Club Road, they would pay off good fashion.
Our old and good friend, Snake Womble fished Blue Gil two days this week 1 limit of Big Red Bellies.
35 Crappie were taken one day on Jigs and 40 Crappie taken on Minnows the same day.
Miles Mayo took one of the nature pictures near the launching ramp on ole Robles Lake near Blountstown, FL on January 14, 2007. The photo shows 10 Alligaters laying on one log. The huge cypress trees and the gators just make a great nature picture.
Facks on Flag Day, 1776, General George Washington commissioned Philidelphia seamstress Betsy Ross to create a flag for the new nation. Inspired by the British bombardment at Ft. McHenry, Francis Scott Key penned the lyrics to our national anthem in 1814. To date there has been 27 official versions of the Stars until 1912 when President Taft standardized the then new flags 48 stars into 6 rows of 8. The 49th and the 50th were added, July 4, 1960. One nation, under God, indivisible, it has lead every battle fought by America and even stands proudly on the moon. Damn those who won’t salute it!!!
