Seminole Ramlin's September 16, 2007 This past week held 2 important dates our readers mite be interested in. First, Francis Scott Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner, of which I am very proud of. Secondly, Richard Nixon and Congress set aside National Hunting and Fishing Week, also our Governor Perdue set aside Saturday, the 22nd as a day where no one would be required to have a hunten or fishen license in the public waters of GA. That is a nice thot. Here is a good one, Chris Jannakas of Gray, GA took a limit of Blue Wing Teal & could have killed more. This took place Saterday. Lots of birds flying he sed. The Hydrilla Gnats fished a nite tournement this Saterday nite with these results: Angelo Kounderakis took 1st with 2 fish at 11.46, Mike Prindle took 2nd with 4 fish at 9.42 and Chris Neely took 3rd with 2 fish at 5.8. The Big Fish was 7.8. They sed it was rite smart cold at daylite. Jed Dickens and Ray Payton of Warner Robbins took a 12 ft. Gator Saterday nite at 1:30am and got it all on film. In fact, it is for their TV show, “IN THE ZONE”. It will be shown on ESPN 2 later on this year. They had shot 2 five footers the nite before and released them. These were all done on Bows & Arrows. Mr. Brown reports that he had a 5 ½, 7 ½, and 2 other small fish Friday, practicing for a tournement Saterday out of Chattahoochee Park. We haven’t heard from that tournement yet. One boat reported Hornie Toads & Pop-R’s brought in 8 nice Bass – 2 in the 5 lbs. class.
