            For those who want to know our own Mrs. Pam Martin-Wells fishing Lake Amstead in Texas finished in 2nd place, only 2 lbs. out of 1st place.  This is her first tournement this year.  Next month she will fish in Birmingham at the Bassmaster Classic.

            This coming weekend will be a biggy for Lake Seminole the Florida 6 man team will go out of Sneeds.  There will be a couple out of them out of Wingate’s and a couple out of the Creek.  We will have a full weekend of fishen.

            The Bassin Gals fished out of Wingate’s in bitter cold weather & 20 mph winds, all day long.  Very few fish was taken, Lonnie Walsh was 1st place with 5.85 lbs. & she had Big Fish with 3.19 lbs.  Sarah Johnson was second with 2.22 lbs.  A tough day.

            We would like to let those that are interested that the Hydrilla Gnats Bass Club is hosting the 2007 Wingate Open on March 3rd & 4th with a $150.00 entry fee.  Big Fish is optional, 80% payback.

            Randy Weaver took to the water Thursday with the Benton Brothers of Thomasville & took a box of Perch & Larry Benton caught & landed a 35 lbs. plus Flathead Catfish.  3 more broke off.

            Nick Jeter fishing a tournement Saterday took a load of Perch on a Red Rattle Trap while fishing for Bass.

            While fishing for Perch, a Cairo boat was trolling a Double Jig Rig passed over a school of Bass, he had 2 on one pole, 3 ½ & 4 ½, he caught 10 Bass and a few Perch.
