Seminole Ramlin's September 3, 2006 The 7th Annual Bainbridge Bass Club’s Buddy Tournement is now past and gone. Big Fish went to Howell & Roach a big 6.35 lbs. 4th place went to Leon Roy and Pat Cutrite, both local fishermen. 3rd place went to A. Aaron and Geodis of Mississippi. 2nd place went to Boyett and Grubbs of Albany. 1st place went to Jordan & Jordan with 13.45 lbs., a good father and son team who found the school of fish 3 weeks ago and they stayed put all that time. Spinner Baits took most and Plastic the rest. It’s very important to take a kid fishen and Mr. Jordan took his young’un every time there was a tournement until the young’un got old enough to drive a boat. Now the young’un takes papa. Good Deal. Bream and Catfish continue to be the good fish this week. Many catches of Bream has crossed the dock this week. They were mostly taken on Crickets off of active beds. The Willow Flies came out again this week. Some Bream were taken on Fly Rods; White Floaters with legs. The Perch seem to have slowed down on Minnows but still going good on Jigs 3 or 4 days a week. Jigs are bringing in limits of Specks. We seem to have an endless supply of Catfish and they come on Wigglers. Anyone can do a job on them. I ain’t never seen so many boats as was pulled up to Wingate’s this weekend. They are coming out of the woodwork. They was eatin’, gassin’ and jist hangin’ out in general. What a sight. The pictures are of Mr. Jordan with two of his winning fish and Mr. Howell with the Big Fish of the Bainbridge Bass Club's Tournement.
