Seminole Ramlin's

October 8, 2006

‘Tis a known fact that lite frost is due in 6 weeks, we sure hope its lite. This week has been a great week for Bream, Cat, and Perch. Lordy Mercy! There has been some kind of fish taken. Most of the Bream and Perch was taken on worms along with a good mess of Catfish bout big as cigars.

Mid week a good mess of Hybrids was taken on live bait, bout the same time a fair catch of Bass was taken on the Green Frogs, they were skidden on top of the grass in several different places, mostly over grass and lily pads.

The Satillia Bass Club of Douglas, Ga fished out with the winner being Jeremy Smith with 9.12 and Jerome Stifoe with big fish a 3.14. Smith took his on a Baby Brush Hog.

Bass Boats Central Club was won by Bob Broom and Mike Thomas with 8 plus pounds, Mike Thomas had big fish a big 6.5. These show how slow the bass are these days. We sure hope its picked up quick.

A family of 5 people from Laural Hill, Fla. Comes up 2 or 3 times a year to fish Seminole with Jigs. In 2 days on this trip they took 200 Specks and 150 Blue Gill on the Jigs they brought.

The picture is of Mike Thomas with his Big Fish from the Bass Boat Central Tournament held this weekend at Wingate's
