Seminole Ramlin's

May 28, 2006

Folks the 35th Annual Bainbridge Bass Club’s Memorial Day Buddy Bass Tournement is history and here is how it ended:

6th Place was Hatton and Hatton with 19.13 lbs. and Big Fish at 7.0 lbs.

5th Place was Hatton and Conley with 19.31 lbs.

4th Place was W.C. Johnson and Tommy T with 19.69 lbs.

3rd Place was Pearson and Pearson with 19.70 lbs.

2nd Place was Rick and Rob Tindell with 20.58 lbs.

1st Place was Jackie and Brad Hamric with 28.37 lbs.

We will try to correct a mistake we made last week, it was Jim Murry that won the Pearson Shoot Out on the Creek.

This winds down one of the very best Fishen Weeks Seminoles had in a lot of days. Here is one of the many stories we heard this week, an Atlanta boat hooked 2 Bass at 3 lbs. and landed them. He then had one at 8 ½ and 3 at 7 lbs. each.

Another boat reported a Black Fish taken off a Spinner Bait by a too friendly Gator.

Many stories of Perch taken on Jigs by lots of folks. As many as 3 limits in one boat.

Many good catches of Bream taken on Crickets this week, several beds found. I even got the old Red Ranger out 2 days and did good both days.

For those of you who are interested in the fact that the Bass Master Classic will be in Birmingham on February 23rd to 25th, fishen on Lay Lake. The Bassin Ladies will fish Neely Henry and weigh in on the same stage at the same time. Just Great!

For those of you that keep up with the records, there has been what we think a worlds record Black Crappie taken in Missouri, a 5.02 lbs. fish. The verdict is not in yet but it looks like it’s a worlds record.

We look to a good Memorial Day and hope everyone gets home safe and sound.

The picture is of W.C. Johnson of Recovery, GA with a nice big Bass he caught while fishing in the Bainbridge Bass Club's 35th Annual Memorial Day Tournament out of Wingate's Lodge on Sunday.
