Seminole Ramlin's August 28, 2005
The Bass fishin industrie past a mile stone this week, it was Ray Scott’s 72 birthday. I tole him he could get his Social Security started. He grinned and sed, never happen. Another point in fishen history, Mr. George Perry, holder of the world’s record Bass at 22.4 lbs. is the only man ever to win 2 records for Large Bass in the same year. He also weighed in a 13.4 lbs. Bass the same year he caught the world’s record. All week the water has been moving at a very fast clip. Some times too fast for the leads to sink. The Bream bit for most folks this week in shallow water. Friday morning a boat landed 65 nice hand size Bream on crickets in 45 minutes. The fishermen sed by the time the cricket and cork hit the water, you had jist enough time to click the bail on the ultraylite fore they took off with the cricket. Fast fishen. The annual Labor Day Tournement will take place this coming Sunday out of the Boat Bason. We predict a good turn out and a good catch. Most of us folks hear in the 3 Rivers are thank full the big storm missed us and pray for those it hit.
Sorry, we don’t have any pictures, our computer is giving us fits.
